A late-game surge led by Hayden Blocker and Laub disrupted Merrillville’s rhythm and initiated a comeback that altered historical records.
Lowell is set to face Illiana Christian next at a neutral site on Tuesday, February 3, in the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Class 3A State Tournament (Sectional 18 | Kankakee Valley).
In their previous meeting on January 20, Lowell defeated Illiana Christian with a score of 54-34 in a non-conference game.
