Senior Brody Kolwinski knows teammates look to him when games get tight. Whether through composure, communication, or effort, the veteran said his role is about setting the standard.
“I know I’m the guy people look toward,” Kolwinski said. “My demeanor and attitude matter. I need to stay composed and do it for the guys around me.”
Kolwinski said his motivation is always rooted in his teammates. “I want to be the best for them,” he said. “Every time I step on the field, I’m thinking about how I can help us succeed.”
McKim praised his leadership, calling him a steady presence. “You can see his influence on and off the field,” McKim said.
For Kolwinski, rivalries bring out the best. “Playing conference rivals every week is what makes football exciting,” he said. “Those games mean more, and winning them is the best feeling.”
As Lowell continues its transition under McKim, Kolwinski said his goal is to lead with consistency. “When my teammates see me locked in, they’ll follow,” he said.
