The Lowell Red Devils concluded their season with a determined effort on Thursday night, succumbing 4–1 to Hanover Central in a sectional playoff match.
According to the match details, the game occurred on October 9th at Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake. The Red Devils demonstrated resilience and energy throughout the contest against a formidable Wildcats team.
Senior Kaelen Lulinski scored Lowell’s only goal of the evening during the second half. Brooke Miller, also a senior, contributed with an assist, while Ashley Mecha and Macy Grskovich created several scoring opportunities through their aggressive play in the attacking third.
Sophomore goalkeeper K. Wilczewski delivered a commendable performance with 10 saves, keeping Lowell competitive for much of the game.
Although this result marked the end of their postseason journey, the Red Devils’ performance highlighted a season characterized by progress, teamwork, and pride. With several key players expected to return next year, Lowell’s prospects appear promising as they aim to build momentum for 2026.
