Lowell High School’s girls basketball team continues its 2025–26 season under the guidance of Head Coach Kelly Chavez. As they enter the mid-November stretch, the team aims to build consistency and establish an offensive rhythm following their initial games.
The Red Devils are scheduled to travel to East Chicago Central on Saturday, November 15, for a 2:30 p.m. CST matchup at East Chicago Central High School. This nonconference game offers Lowell a chance to refine its rotations and test its defensive strategies against a quick and athletic East Chicago team.
According to Chavez, the team emphasizes balanced ball movement and composure under pressure, which are crucial elements for staying competitive throughout a challenging road schedule. With several underclassmen assuming larger roles, the Red Devils focus on developing cohesion and maintaining tempo on both ends of the court.
As the season advances, Lowell seeks to solidify its identity based on hustle, teamwork, and poise in close-game situations.
Following this game, Lowell will remain on the road to face Hebron on Tuesday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. CST.
