The Lowell girls’ wrestling team demonstrated a commendable performance against Highland, maintaining their momentum during the regular season.

According to the event details, the meet took place on December 17 at Lowell High School and was the final home competition of the season for the Red Devils. The team secured multiple victories across their lineup, with wins from Jacky Mallory, Alexia Utley, Hayden Lambert, Elise Meier, and Savannah Wilson. Notably, Wilson achieved the fastest finish of the night by securing a pin in just 21 seconds. The meet held additional significance for the program’s seniors as all three concluded their final home appearance with victories.

The team’s performance underscored both competitive success and program growth as they continue to prepare for postseason competition. This preparation involves combining experienced leadership with impactful individual results.

Lowell’s next competition is scheduled for January 9 at 2 p.m., where they will participate in the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Regional at Goshen.
