Lowell earned a 59–25 victory over Northwestern in a varsity girls basketball neutral-site tournament matchup.
The game took place Dec. 27, 2025, at a neutral tournament site.
Lowell controlled the game from the opening minutes, setting the tone defensively and building separation as the contest progressed. The Red Devils consistently limited Northwestern’s scoring opportunities while pushing the pace offensively, creating advantages in transition and the half court. Lowell continued to widen the margin throughout the game, never allowing Northwestern to mount sustained momentum.
Brooke Dawson led Lowell with 17 points, shooting efficiently from the floor and anchoring the offense. Gatlin Hanrath added 12 points while contributing across multiple categories, including rebounds and assists. Josephine Laub and Ella Labas each chipped in six points, while Aubrey Fleming and Layla Baron provided additional scoring depth. As a team, Lowell finished with 59 points on 24 made field goals and showed balanced production throughout the rotation, also recording 16 assists and 15 steals.
Lowell will return to action Jan. 15 when it hosts Hobart in a scheduled 7 p.m. conference matchup.
The previous meeting between Lowell and Hobart came Jan. 16, when Lowell earned a 37–26 road win.
