Lowell continued its strong early-season performance in girls wrestling by defeating Griffith 48–15.
The match took place on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lowell Senior High School. The Red Devils took control early and steadily built on their advantage, winning key bouts across multiple weight classes to create early separation. Lowell’s lineup applied consistent pressure on their feet, turning aggressive attacks into takedowns and bonus-point opportunities. Strong finishes on the mat and disciplined defense prevented Griffith from gaining momentum as the dual progressed. Even in tightly contested matches, Lowell wrestlers executed late scoring sequences and held position to secure important decisions. The depth and competitive edge throughout the roster helped the Red Devils maintain command from start to finish, resulting in another convincing effort for the girls’ program.
According to the schedule, Lowell will next travel to Boone Grove High School to face Boone Grove on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.
This is the first meeting between Lowell and Griffith this season as both girls’ wrestling programs look to continue sharpening their lineups heading into December competition.
