The Lowell High School Red Devils boys basketball team faced a challenging game against Griffith High School, ultimately losing 58–48 in a non-conference matchup.
The game took place on December 5 at Lowell High School. The Red Devils started with strong energy, scoring 15 points in the first quarter to keep pace with their opponents. However, according to the match report, the Panthers gained separation in the second half. Lowell relied heavily on Ezra Rumisek, who led the team in scoring and rebounding with his performance inside and on the glass. Roan Vasko also played a crucial role as a facilitator, guiding the offense and helping create opportunities against Griffith’s defensive pressure. Despite a late push from Lowell, Griffith maintained control in the final stretch to secure their victory.
Looking ahead, Lowell is set to host Hobart on December 19 at 7 p.m. In their last encounter, Lowell traveled to Hobart on December 20 of last season but fell short in a close 63–59 game.
