The Lowell boys’ soccer team secured a decisive 5–1 victory over East Chicago Central at home on Wednesday, October 1.
The Red Devils quickly established momentum by scoring four goals in the first half, taking control of the game. Their aggressive play and disciplined possession limited the Cardinals’ opportunities and kept most of the action in East Chicago’s defensive zone. Lowell added another goal after halftime, while East Chicago was unable to score again after their early goal.
With this win, Lowell’s record improved to 14–2 overall and 5–1 in conference play, reinforcing its status as one of Northwest Indiana’s leading teams. The Red Devils have been particularly strong at home, maintaining an undefeated 6–0 record thanks to a potent offense that has netted 69 goals this season.
Looking ahead, Lowell will continue its regular-season schedule before shifting focus to sectional tournament play.
