The Lowell Red Devils boys’ soccer team concluded an impressive season, achieving a 14-2 overall record and a 5-1 standing in the Northwest Crossroads Conference. This performance secured them a third-place finish in one of Indiana’s competitive leagues.

After losing their season opener to Hanover Central, the Red Devils embarked on a winning streak, securing 13 consecutive victories through late September. Their offensive prowess and defensive discipline were evident throughout both conference and non-conference matches.

Lowell’s season included significant victories against Hebron, Rensselaer Central, and Kouts. In conference play, they triumphed over Munster, Highland, and Hobart, demonstrating their capability in crucial moments.

Their offensive unit was among the most effective in the region, scoring 69 goals and conceding only 20. Notable matches included a 9-0 victory over Merrillville and a 2-1 win at Illiana Christian, showcasing both their attacking precision and defensive control.

The team’s successful run concluded with a 4-0 loss to Crown Point in the Class 3A Sectional postseason. Despite this defeat, the campaign reinforced Lowell’s status as an emerging program in Northwest Indiana.

Looking ahead, Lowell will focus on offseason training with aspirations of transforming this year’s success into a championship pursuit in 2026.
