This triumph allows Lowell to advance to the next round of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Football State Tournament, which is presented by the Indianapolis Colts.
The game occurred on October 31 at East Chicago Central High School in East Chicago, Indiana. According to reports, Lowell dominated the game from start to finish, maintaining offensive consistency and achieving a shutout against their opponents. The Red Devils’ defense was particularly strong, preventing the Cardinals from scoring throughout the match. With this victory, Lowell’s record improved to 9–2 for the season, reflecting an overall win percentage of .818 and a conference play mark of .833. Meanwhile, East Chicago Central concluded its season with an overall record of 4–7.
Looking ahead, Lowell is set to face Hobart on November 7 in the subsequent round of the Class 4A state tournament. In their previous encounter before this postseason matchup, Lowell also emerged victorious over East Chicago Central.
