Lowell High School’s girls wrestling team is set to travel to Crown Point for a dual meet. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, as the Red Devils continue their early-season schedule.
According to the event details, the meet will commence at 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) at Crown Point High School. This encounter marks another road test for Lowell as it prepares for tournament competition later in the month.
Led by Head Coach Kevin English, the Red Devils aim to build on lessons from their opening meet against Michigan City. English says that Crown Point, known as one of the state’s perennial wrestling powers, provides a strong challenge that will help gauge Lowell’s progress in multiple weight classes. The team will focus on maintaining composure, countering takedowns, and finishing matches strong as part of its early-season development.
Following this dual meet, Lowell is scheduled to compete in the Highland Girls Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, November 15. The tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. CST at Highland High School and will feature several regional programs in a full-day tournament format.
