The Lowell Red Devils girls volleyball team returns to the court this season under the guidance of the coaching staff, aiming to strengthen team cohesion and sharpen execution. After a solid finish last year, the program is building on its momentum with a renewed focus on both skill development and in-game consistency.
Summer training sessions have emphasized a quicker offensive pace, aggressive serving, and improved defensive coverage. The staff has also worked to refine communication on the court, ensuring players are prepared to adapt quickly during high-pressure rallies. The team’s annual “Dig Pink” event remains a highlight, fostering community support while raising awareness for breast cancer causes.
Depth is a strength heading into the new season, with contributions expected from returning varsity players and younger athletes moving up through the program’s feeder system. This blend of experience and new energy is expected to provide lineup flexibility and a competitive edge.
The Red Devils will face several non-conference opponents in August, giving the coaching staff an early opportunity to evaluate rotations and test match-day strategies. With strong preparation, a united roster, and a passionate home crowd, Lowell is ready to dig deep and compete at a high level in 2025.
