Lowell dominated Munster 49-14 in conference play.
The game took place on October 10 at Lowell High School, where the Red Devils used a balanced offensive attack and strong defense to control the game from start to finish. Lowell opened up an early lead and maintained it, accumulating points in every quarter while limiting Munster’s scoring opportunities.
Sophomore running back Tymothy James had a breakout performance, rushing for 274 yards and four touchdowns, including a long 80-yard score. Junior quarterback Gavin Gutierrez added 123 receiving yards with two touchdown catches. Senior L. Schneider contributed a rushing touchdown and key blocks on special teams. On defense, Lowell recorded 63 total tackles and one sack, with Roan Vasko and John Judd making key stops to stifle Munster’s offense.
With the win, Lowell strengthens its position in the conference standings and gains momentum heading into next week’s matchup. The Red Devils aim to continue their strong form as they pursue a playoff berth.
