Lowell Boys Basketball fell to Hanover Central 46-31 in conference play.
The game was played Feb. 13 at Lowell High School.
Lowell battled throughout the matchup but was unable to generate consistent offense against Hanover Central’s defensive pressure. The Red Devils worked to create opportunities in the half court but struggled to find sustained scoring runs as the Wildcats maintained control.
Roan Vasko led Lowell with 10 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field and converting both free-throw attempts. B. Spearson added five points, while Ty Fredericksen also finished with five points on 2-of-2 shooting from the floor. Aiden Hernandez contributed four points, and Ezra Rumisek chipped in five points and seven rebounds to lead the team on the glass.
Lowell shot 13-of-37 from the field and 1-of-15 from three-point range. The Red Devils totaled 18 rebounds and limited second-chance opportunities but were hindered by 13 turnovers in the contest.
Despite the result, Lowell continued to compete defensively and showed effort on the boards. The Red Devils will look to build on the experience as they move forward through the remainder of their schedule.
